In 5-billion yrs the Sun will expand & engulf our orbit as the charred ember that was once Earth vaporizes. Have a nice day.

I sat behind this kid who reminded myself of.. Well, myself. Intrigued by the little things adults take for granted, like the sunshine, the clouds, the beauty of our world and our solar system.. He would keep yelling; “look mommy, the clouds”, and the mom would tell him to hush up, and I’m sitting there looking at what he sees, and I’m just as amazed as he is. The way the sun looked like it was setting down in the clouds was gorgeous, and reminded me that as children, we marvel at the beauty that is life.. But what happens to us as adults, that we forget this, and live everyday as if nothing is new.. That saddens me, that we live life and just bypass its true beauty, and focus on things that worry us…
